Our Cabana

Our Cabaña is on the outskirts of  Cuernavaca, about 50 miles from Mexico City.  You can arrange to be met at the airport, and may choose to stay a few days at Ticalli, the guide house in Mexico City, to do some sight seeing before travelling on to Our Cabaña.  Mexico City is a fascinating place, and there is much to see as Mexico has such a colourful history based on it's heritage of the Aztecs, Mayans and Toltecs.  However, some of the place names such as Popocatepetl, Iztaccihuatl and Teopanzolco may need a bit of practice for some of us!

 
At Our Cabaña there is much to keep you busy.  Mexico is famous for it's crafts and festivals. Make a piñata, try your hand at an amate and join in the dancing! You can visit Taxaco, the 'Silver City' and you would be surprised to learn how many uses a cactus has!  Special sessions include the 'Festival of the Dead' in November; and the Butterfly session in February is truly amazing.
