| Message from our Chairman Dear Friends, Summer is here at last in the UK and I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday wherever you live. If it’s not your holiday time then fingers crossed for when it is. Lin has been designing a new web page for us and I am sure she would like to know what you think of it. The Trustees of the Friends of the Four World Centres are so grateful to Lin for all this effort on our behalf. What I would also like you all to do is to try to enthuse one other person to join the Friends. If you know anyone who has been to one of the centres do just ask them to join. Suggest they look at the web page will you? The ‘Friends’ are planning gatherings for next year 2009. One to ‘Broneirion’ in Wales. This place is owned by girlguiding Wales. The other trip hopefully is to New York when ‘Friends’ will be gathering from the USA, and Canada as well as from the UK. You would need to be a member of the Friends to join us and we are pleased to include husbands/partners too so long as they become a member. In January 2010 we are organising a group to go to Sangam in India and again all of you are welcome to come along to this. The details are in the newsletter. It doesn’t matter if you don’t live in the UK because the more nationalities at a World Centre the better. Our annual meeting will be held at Pax Lodge on November 15th 2008. We will be celebrating 21 years since the ‘Friends’ began so again do join us even if you are not a member. Perhaps you have been to a World Centre and just want to come. You will be very welcome.
